Our Group
1st Tedburn and Cheriton Scout Group was formed in 1972 and is based in the village of Cheriton Bishop in Mid Devon. We are a rural Group and our young people come primarily from the villages of:
- Tedburn St Mary
- Cheriton Bishop
- Crockernwell
- Yeoford
- Dunsford
- Hittisleigh
- Whitestone
We currently run a Beaver Colony, a Cub Pack and a Scout Troop with regular meetings each week during term times. We also host the Mid Devon Tigers Explorer Scout Unit who meet fortnightly at our site.
Scouting offers young people opportunities to have fun, try new activities, make friends and learn skills for life. We’d love to have you join us.
